2013 was a year of technological breakthroughs that would pave the way for the future. One of the most exciting developments for me was the rise of wearable technology. I vividly remember the excitement surrounding the launch of the first Google Glass.
When I first tried on Google Glass at a tech demo, I was fascinated by the idea of having a computer right in front of my eyes. I could take pictures, get directions, and even check notifications without pulling out my phone. It felt like living in a sci-fi movie.
Aside from Google Glass, 2013 also saw the launch of the first version of the Oculus Rift, which would revolutionize virtual reality. I got to try a demo at a gaming convention, and the experience was mind-blowing. Being immersed in a virtual world for the first time made me realize how close we were to creating truly immersive digital experiences.
